 Alborz Darou pharmaceutical company registered as "International Products Co." in 1976 and was renamed into "Tolipharma Co." in 1979. At last, in 1989 the name of Alborz Darou (Private joint-stock) was chosen, and then by its introduction to stock exchange in 1996, the company was changed from "private joint-stock" into general joint-stock".

The company, which is affiliated with Sobhan Pharmaceutical group, is one of the active manufactures of Sobhan Pharmaceutical group and one of the leading pharmaceutical companies in Iran with more than quarter of a century experience.

Alborz Darou pharmaceutical company is engaged in formulation development, manufacturing and marketing of pharmaceutical finished dosage forms and has over 70 pharmaceutical formulations in its rang of products. These products are marketed under generic and brand names for domestic market and export.

The factory is located in Qazvin industrial city about 140 km north of Tehran. It has a fully equipped central laboratory, manufacturing plant for dry products (tablets and capsules), sterile (ampoules and Prefilled syringes) liquids (soft liquids and suspensions) and packaging unit.

Besides its manufacturing, the company is highly on quality control laboratory, research and development and technical support division to improve the quality and standards of both raw material and finished products. The company has strict quality assurance department responsible for enforcing quality guidelines supported by modern control laboratory, testing raw material and packaging component. All phase of production process are strictly monitored up to the finished product.
